This programme is designed for new entrants to the industry aged 19+, providing them with basic skills and experience. This City & Guilds qualification is designed for those who wish to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the electro-technology sector. It can be used as a foundation to progress onto further qualifications which lead to becoming a fully qualified electrician. The course is a mixture of on-site delivery, 1 evening per week and online independent study. Learners will study the theory modules at home and come into college to complete the practical units and exams.
